Course Details
At the end of the four-year curriculum at AMA School of Medicine, students will be granted the title of “Doctor of Medicine (M.D)” which is equivalent to MBBS in India and is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The first three years provide the students with an understanding of the basic concepts in classroom settings. After three years of academic courses, they will have to intern in an affiliated hospital for one year where they apply the concepts they have learned in actual clinical and community settings. After they graduate from AMASOM, Indian students will be offered a license to practice in India after the completion of licensing formalities with the MCI.
Fees Structure
Both BS-MD and MD programs are available here. For the MD program, The total fees are around INR 4.5 lakhs for the first year, 3.7 lakhs for the second and third year, and around 2.2 lakhs for the fourth year, making the total for all four years of academic courses come up to just around 14.4 lakhs, which is very affordable. The AMA School of Medicine (AMASOM), Philippines, is listed in the World Health Organization (WHO). It is one of the top-ranking MCI approved medical universities in the Philippines.
